METROPOLITAN COUNCIL SEEKS A CHIEF HUMAN RESOURCES OFFICER
Starting Salary Range: $145,000 - $185,000
The Chief Human Resources (HR) Officer is responsible for developing and executing human resources strategy in alignment with and support of the overall strategic direction of the Met Council. The Chief HR Officer provides strategic leadership vision, detailed planning, and oversight to organizational Human Resources functions, including talent acquisition, labor relations, learning, organization development, workforce development, occupational health, compensation, and benefits.
The ideal candidate is a decisive, strategic Human Resources leader with a commitment to accountability and experience successfully implementing culture change. They aren’t afraid to face issues head on, challenging convention and building bridges between functionally-distinct parts of the organization by cultivating mutual trust and openness with key stakeholders. They also excel in engaging employees and fostering an inclusive environment for diverse employees and constituent groups.
