We are searching for a Partnerships Director based in Los Angeles, CA. The Partnerships Director will help increase the product and sales footprint by proactively engaging with influential artists, studios, and industry organizations, and creating content to espouse the benefits of our products.
This role can work remotely from the Los Angeles area, but must be willing to travel.
Essential Functions
- Define and execute partnership outreach plan to increase the visibility of PreSonus in the music creation and production markets.
- Provide regular reporting on partnership plan progress, wins, learnings and how we will iterate to improve.
- Serve as the primary liaison with recording professionals and artists in the recording and creative space in Los Angeles, Nashville, New York and other Key Markets.
- Identify, court, build, and maintain relationships with recording professionals, artists, influencers and other stakeholders, demonstrating PreSonus products and getting them to add them to their workflow.
- Facilitate partnerships with key customers for capturing content and demo material.
- Gather feedback on product priorities from key customers and potential customers.
- Identify underserved areas that our products need to support through feature solutions and recommendations.
- Ideate future product features that will help drive customer adoption. Help define product requirements that will feed into the future product roadmap.
- Clearly communicate our value proposition to the Pro Audio/Recording community.
- Create demo, marketing and customer content that can be distributed online or performed on location at Studios, Trade shows etc.
- Align with the product, sales and marketing teams to ensure seamless communication across the professional recording community in a unified brand voice - highlight customer wins with original content that can be used to market and sell our products to customers.
- Support additional outreach for potential customer opportunities and other partnerships.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in marketing, relationship management, project management, customer success or a related field.
- Experience in a role that requires coordination, attention to detail and thoroughness.
- Demonstrated ability to credibly communicate, present and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Proven ability to proactively build productive relationships internally and externally.
- Innovative thinker who challenges the status quo and presents ideas for efficient or more productive workflow.
- Ability to explain technical and business concepts as well as articulate development status and challenges between technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to quickly understand new technologies and complex concepts.
- Incredibly curious and solutions-oriented, driven to find value-added opportunities.
- Expert musician, producer and presenter.
- Ability to create scripted original demo content featuring PreSonus products.
- Knowledge of trends and key stakeholders within the music business.
- Experience in the recording business.

Please note that it is not typical for a Fender employee to be at or near the top of the pay scale for their role – especially as a new hire – and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Subject to the foregoing, the current pay scale for this position is $104,500.00 - 154,000.00.
