Job Description
VersaDesk is seeking a motivated and results-driven Marketing Director to be responsible for managing the marketing budget, including paid advertising initiatives, and ensuring that all content aligns cohesively with our brand strategy. You will lead and inspire a high-performing marketing team, which consists of both in-house staff and external agencies. Your role will be pivotal in driving VersaDesk's growth and brand presence across all platforms.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and revenue growth.
- Take full responsibility for managing and optimizing the entire marketing budget across PPC, display advertising, social media, and other digital platforms, ensuring maximum ROI.
- Collaborate closely with the Chief Marketing Officer to align marketing efforts with broader business goals and objectives.
- Partner with external agencies to ensure that campaigns are executed effectively, while maintaining control over the strategic direction.
- Oversee and optimize performance across all digital campaigns, ensuring alignment with company goals and consistent execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and creative, to ensure marketing efforts are cohesive and impactful.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing marketing team, fostering a culture of innovation, data driven decision making, and continuous improvement.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer behaviors to identify new opportunities and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Track, measure, and report on the effectiveness of all marketing initiatives, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
- Stay up to date with the latest digital marketing tools, trends, and best practices to ensure we remain competitive in the marketplace.
Basic Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field (MBA preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in a senior marketing role, with a focus on digital marketing and strategy development
- Proven experience with hands-on management of large scale marketing budgets, with a strong emphasis on PPC, display advertising, and social media
- Experience collaborating with external agencies and cross functional teams
- Strong analytical skills and experience with tools like Google Analytics, Google Ads, and other advertising platforms
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop talent
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in B2B marketing, particularly in industries related to big and bulky hard goods or manufacturing
