The Director of Operations will be responsible for mapping production needs to meet sales targets safely and within budget. Develop strategic plans and budgets based on Company goals. Manage execution by your staff of the projects plans and actions to achieve timing, budget and customer satisfaction goals safely.
We are looking for an accountable, self-starter who can build business by identifying and selling prospects while maintaining a relationship with clients.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan operational capabilities in PrintWorks, Warehousing, Installations, Delivery, Engineering and Wood Production to respond successfully to the delivery timing of client’s requests for services and products.
- Develop a rolled-up budget per revenue channel annually prior to the beginning of the new fiscal year.
- Develop professional and business relationships that aid the business workflow and continuity of business success in the community.
- Maintain a digital dynamic tool that informs and forecasts staffing requirements, to follow the revenue forecasts in our channels bi-monthly.
- Create, review, and approve work order requests and engineering work order requests when submitted.
- Work with the Creative Director and/or engineers in a coordinated manner to plan the completion of assignments within the channels within the time requested.
- Provide strategic thinking, problem solving and demonstrate the skills you possess to lead operational proficiency and growth for staff.
- Direct the writing of reports, detailing progress of projects up to POE when requested; schedule weekly meetings with the President to provide revenue channel and project status updates and other business imperatives.
- Oversee 3rd party vendors relationships to assure 100% compliance with Microsoft requirements and the performance of ImagiCorps sub-contracting as part of a strategy of outsourcing a portion of our overflow to facilitate growth.
- Create the programs and activities which improve communication, management and other skills for the overall benefit to ImagiCorps. Specialize in crisis prevention by leading your staff to plan and direct activities in advance.
- Be informed about industry and market trends by attending seminars, reading periodicals and joining professional affiliations.
- Serve as ImagiCorps’ ambassador of good will to act to improve morale and the perception of ImagiCorps’ execution of projects. Act to create confidence in the use of the firm in general.
- Search and hire staff in support of the requests your managers make, as required. Maintain and encourage them into action when you see the need.
- Identify and develop key personnel to leverage opportunities and facilitate growth that takes advantage of skills in and among our staff.
- Manage ImagiCorps’ resources to maximize project success, profitability, and goodwill.
- Ask your staff to search for, recommend, and bring on-line, equipment that leads to bringing subcontracting projects in-house, and can be added to our business skill suite. Recommend adding capabilities that will stimulate our growth.
- Direct that all hours are recorded in a manner consistent with ImagiCorps’ timecard policy.
- Travel as required to meet project needs.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years’ experience in management/supervisory experience.
- Any Specific experience in the following is preferred but not required; Hubspot, Creative Suite, Photoshop, Graphic Design, Web Language, RFPs.
- Proven experience in development and execution of a marketing plan.
SKILLS:
- Type 40+ WPM and computer knowledge of MS Products, Word, PowerPoint Excel, Outlook.
- Ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Effective written and oral communication skills; demonstrate excellent organizational skills.
- Superior negotiation skills for both internal and external purposes.
- Experience with budgets and forecasts is a plus.
- Proven work experience as an operations manager or similar role.
