THE ROLE
This is a key End to End Experience leadership role for the Administrative Technologies vertical (within IS) at PSJH and will be primarily focused on building and enabling impactful end to end experiences for Philanthropy Executives, Core Leaders, Caregivers and Donors at Providence. As the Executive Director, you will partner closely with Philanthropy business stakeholders to drive the overall DREAM product strategy (amongst others), and align the vision and mission of the business with our technical roadmap, including feature prioritization, breakdown, and development. The scope is both broad, across the Philanthropy business and connected, in terms of connecting multiple business processes together to create seamless and simplified caregiver and donor experiences. This role is both enterprise in nature and startup in mindset because we are building on recent integration work and building the AT division from the ground floor. This role will work in a fast-paced environment, constant demands for better experiences, and will require strong problem resolution, decision making, communication and partnering skills. It requires a combination of Philanthropy business acumen, user advocacy and technical proficiency.
This role requires someone to be both a leader (building, managing and inspiring a team of direct reports) and teacher (as we bring in a user centered, connected experience mindset and skill set to the organization). It requires strong partnership skills and the ability to deal with high degrees of ambiguity, sound judgment and have the ability to impact and influence caregivers, core leaders and executives in Philanthropy and IS teams to drive clear strategy, product roadmaps and implementation plans.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Extensive expertise in developing, building and sustaining relationships with Business and IS stakeholders. Track record of delivering impactful projects through partnership. Experience in aligning business and IS, leading prioritization of technical projects (in alignment with business prioritization) and being the connective force for solutions that cross into and between Philanthropy and IS teams. Builds culture that values partnerships and is responsive to end user needs. Demonstrated extensive experience in working with and enabling the Philanthropy business teams with related technical solutions (CRM, Financial, Support, Reporting & Analytics, amongst others) through implementation and support of end to end experiences. Experience in product delivery capabilities in both mindset and skillset to help differentiate PSJH from the industry. Leadership experience that shows expertise and capability that inspires teams in such a way to enable a caregiver focused, high performance and high engagement from the team. Extensive expertise in core product management with the ability to solve complex business challenges and problems across multiple projects and programs, remove ambiguity, leverage data to make decisions, negotiate trade offs, ensure business value by identifying pain points and tracking KPIs. Leads engineering team with experiences that delight end users. Extensive experience working in, leading and delivering large and complex programs across multiple teams. Creates environment for successful collaboration, effective management of executive stakeholders, leads resolution of complex issues and roadblocks, inspires and leads quality project delivery. Demonstrated experience in leveraging the power of data, analytics, user research, user experience/support data, technical process modeling, persona development or use and connected experience to drive behavior, process and priority decisions across the team and IS. Demonstrated experience in building products and implementing process improvements that drive high business impact and caregiver satisfaction. Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors in Philanthropy, User Centered design, Information Systems, Data Science or Engineering discipline. 12 years of overall experience. Masters in any of the above or Business Administration is preferred. 12 years of related experience - User experience, solution delivery, product management, software engineering, technical program management - all at enterprise scale and complexity. 5 years of leadership experience, leading experience or program management or technical teams in a complex and fast moving environment. 5 years of experience developing and managing fundraising technology. Knowledgeable in Product Management and End to End Experiences development and management, having the ability to work hands on and to teach and grow others in the knowledge and skills. Expertise in Philanthropy and related technical enablement via CRM, financial, analytics & reporting or other solutions. Demonstrated ability to partner successfully with Philanthropy business team members. Ability to effectively build relationships with Philanthropy caregivers, executive management, and other stakeholders through positive interaction and problem identification and resolution. Ability to perform work independently with minimal supervision, to lead and grow this Philanthropy focused team, growing and hiring the next set of leaders, both managerially and technically. Ability to prioritize responsibilities and to organize workload to ensure that timeframes are met and the work is successfully completed within timelines defined in partnership with our Philanthropy business partners. Ability to develop and deliver effective presentations: live, via online or virtual mediums to be a visible and servant leader within the organization and across IS. Ability to focus on the greater need and mission of the organization, making personal goals and ambitions secondary to the success of the overall division and organization.
