What You Will Do
- Perform all required sales/service functions such as receiving and responding to RFP proposals submitted by brokers, agents, consulting firms, TPA’s, and financial advisors.
- Interact with these partners and plan sponsors to understand the client’s overall objectives and requirements.
- Contact above mentioned partners on a regular basis to maintain productive relationships, advise of new product and service offerings, and obtain feedback on products and service.
- Prepare and conduct technical/product presentations and demonstrations for potential clients.
- Conduct a variety of presentation seminars on all facets of business including products and strategies.
- Coordinate with local Client Relationship Managers & Regional Directors to implement new plans to assigned accounts/customers.
- Provide feedback to marketing and product design teams for future product enhancements through Regional Vice President.
- Share ideas and partner/client needs throughout all phases of the implementation life cycle.
- Continually prospect for new relationships with brokers, agents, consulting firms, etc.
- Align sales strategies within assigned territory consistent with that of the company.
- Educate the marketplace on core strategies as they are introduced. Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Bring
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university preferred; 4 years related sales experience in the 401k market.
Certifications/Registrations
FINRA Series 6, 63 and applicable state insurance licenses.
What Will Set You Apart
- Comprehensive industry knowledge is essential.
- Demonstrated effective sales, communication, and presentation skills.
- Basic personal computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, and LCD projector skills.
- Willingness to travel the majority of the time (60-70%) via air and personal vehicle to go to local meetings with plan sponsors and brokers.
- Normal Office Working Conditions typically from a home office.

Base Salary Range
$97,500.00 - $114,375.00. The salary range above shows the typical minimum to maximum base salary range for this position in the location listed. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation offered may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements, and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
