Come join the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE), an organization dedicated to the non-technical concerns of licensed professional engineers. NSPE is seeking a Director of Membership to lead the membership team, driving member value, growth, and engagement strategy.

As the Director of Membership, you will play a crucial role in promoting the value of NSPE membership, which includes access to professional development resources, networking opportunities, and advocacy for the engineering profession. You will oversee a team responsible for member service, awards and recognition programs, and online communities, while also serving as a key liaison to NSPE Membership. You will work extensively with the membership database and on membership marketing. This position reports to the Vice President of Membership & State Engagement and manages the Customer/Member Service team.
Qualified candidates offer:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience
- 10 years of experience in membership management with a proven track record of success in growing and engaging a membership base
- Previous association experience
- Strong understanding of membership recruitment, retention, and engagement best practices
- Expertise in developing and implementing data-driven membership strategies
- Experience leading and managing a team in a fast-paced environment
