As a key member of the executive management team, this position oversees the financial management of the business. This includes monitoring company performance, interpreting results and forecasts, and relaying the information to the company. The CFO shall provide strategic input, guidance, and recommendations to the CEO. External interactions are also essential, especially investor relations and interfacing with the Board of Directors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Interpret financial management reports including, but not limited to, internal and external monthly financial statements, annual audits, and annual budgets. Make recommendations to top management, including identifying and developing strategies to address key issues confronting the existing business.
- Oversee the company’s financial compliance with all legal and government requirements, including SEC reporting.
- Build relationships with US technology financial analysts and investment bankers to assist in financing the company as necessary.
- Ensure plans and targets, forecasting, and goals are set in measurable financial targets and support follow-up on executive initiatives.
- Identify and implement performance improvement opportunities in operating performance and asset utilization.
- Participate in the development of annual operating plans and long-term strategic planning, including growth plans.
- Ensure strong financial controls are in place, particularly in areas responsible for significant cash.
- Organize, lead, and motivate the financial, credit, and accounting organization to meet and exceed functional objectives.
- Establish and maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity of financial systems, processes, and data.
- Ensure an effective exchange of information and communication based on financial facts.
- Participate in driving any needed business process reengineering.
- Oversee the company’s information technology activities to ensure that data is effectively gathered, analyzed, and maintained.
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Communicates well both internally and externally, including presentations to the Board of Directors, customers, outside vendors, analysts, and shareholders.
- Ability to provide leadership and foster a sense of teamwork throughout the finance organization.
- Strong knowledge of general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income tax, and banking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic, entrepreneurial environment where growth and professionalism will be achieved largely through creativity, high integrity, reasoned and thoughtful judgment, sense of urgency, a balance between strategic and tactical skills, and a willingness to “roll up one’s sleeves.”
- Ability to identify key opportunities to fundamentally improve the business, financial performance, drive systematic cost reduction, and develop accurate cost data.
- Must demonstrate a strong understanding of SEC financial reporting.
- Evidence of a management style that successfully builds alliances within the corporation.
- Demonstrated ability to inspire others; show a strong work ethic; set a positive example by providing assistance, recognition, and encouragement; identify and articulate clear, meaningful goals; focus the efforts of others; and quickly adapt well to changing conditions.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum BS degree in Financial Management, Accounting, or CPA.
- Experience in an internationally growing, technology-based public corporation.
- Must have at least 15 years of increasing responsibility in financial management.

Pay Range:
$225,000.00 - $315,000.00 annually
