Summary
- Planning will focus on integrating the SIOP cycle (Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning) into a coherent and executable production plan that supports multiple complex aerospace projects across a multi-site production organization.
- Responsible for the creation, maintenance, and realization of the industrial strategy, forecasting, and demand & capacity analysis.
- Create, maintain, and enhance production and quality inspection scheduling tools, systems, reports, and associated processes to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the production and quality team and the overall operation.
- Report to the Vice President, Production and perform as a key member of the multi-site extended leadership team.
- They will also support the quality organization.
- This leadership role will support a team of 2+ professionals.
- Regular engagement with all levels of the company, from executives to non-exempt agency temporary workers, will be the norm.
- Establishing, executing, and maintaining Integrated Production planning and SIOP inputs.
- Planning elements in support of the program integrated master schedule.
- Execute and refine forecasting processes within the Production system and the SIOP process.
- Integration and utilization of standards and best practices (process and tool).
- Provide leadership and direction for the Operations group, aligning efforts with the overall mission and vision.
- Drive integration across key stakeholders from business areas and functions, such as Program Management (PM), Master Scheduling, Finance, Business Development, and Supply Chain teams.
- Close engagement with the Manufacturing and Installation teams.
- Collaborate with senior management, engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to define and execute strategic initiatives.
- Utilize forecasts and departmental capacities to ensure milestones and final deliverables are met.
- Develops and maintains production plans for materials planning and SIOP.
- Maintain operational data (Job orders) to remain accurate throughout the lifetime of a master production plan and job orders, for all projects, to allow real-time visibility.
- Execute and refine forecasting processes within the ERP system and the SIOP process.

Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or Engineering disciplines with a minimum of 12 years related experience and five years of people management experience.
- PMP Certification desired.
- Aerospace background or aircraft interior industry experience required.
- Financial Acumen, Business Acumen, Managing with Influence.
- Technical Acumen (development), Interpersonal relationships and communication.
- Leading and executing the SIOP process.
- Ability to operate on multi-functioning team.
- Executive level communication and presentation skills, including Microsoft PowerPoint as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
