Job Overview
As a Senior Tax Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the tax compliance and reporting functions within the organization. You will play a key role in ensuring that the company complies with all tax laws and regulations while optimizing tax strategies to minimize liabilities.
Duties
- Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of all tax returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize the company's tax liabilities
- Conduct research on tax issues and stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide guidance on tax implications of business decisions
- Review financial statements to ensure accurate reporting of tax information
- Lead and mentor junior tax team members
Skills
- Strong knowledge of general ledger reconciliation and accounting principles
- Familiarity with securities law and SOX compliance
- Experience with payroll, financial sales, and corporate accounting
- Ability to analyze financial data, interpret complex information, and make strategic recommendations
- Financial acumen to assess investment opportunities and assist in financial planning
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $140,949.00 per year
