Position Summary
The Senior Corporate Financial Analyst is a key member of the Corporate Controller Group. This position utilizes strong accounting, analytical, and reporting skills to support global financial processes across the business. The Senior Corporate Financial Analyst will contribute to global financial and operational reporting and provide a broad range of accounting and finance support to the corporate leaders and global finance team.
Position Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To
- Support the global capital spend process for owned, leased and cloud compute items, including project tracking, monthly reporting, periodic forecasting, and annual budgeting
- Participate in tracking, analyzing, and planning for all aspects of the business
- Perform General Ledger month end close activities, including detailed analysis for all corporate G&A departments
- Prepare monthly corporate balance sheet account reconciliations and related analysis
- Leverage Blackline for account reconciliations, transaction matching, and monthly journal entries
- Support management reporting including Mid-Month Flash, Global KPI & Safety reporting processes
- Liaise with the global markets as necessary to obtain information to support all reporting and analysis needs, including Ad-hoc analysis
- Support system migration from Planful to OneStream for the corporate planning and management reporting processes
- Leverage technology to automate and streamline processes & reporting
- Build and maintain robust process documentation
- Support annual external financial statement audit, and support internal audit & tax requests
- Other projects or duties as assigned
Required Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of related experience OR a high school diploma with at least 8+ years of specific experience
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience with financial modeling, analysis, and reporting
- Experience with other Microsoft applications (PowerBi, Outlook, Word, Power Point)
- Possess a professional demeanor, strong interpersonal ability, and exceptional problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical skills with an ability to focus on the details
- Ability to understand, develop and refine processes
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines, and deal with pressures associated with those deadlines
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and/or projects at one time
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact with personnel at all levels within the organization to obtain, discuss, and analyze information and processes
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Travel as necessary (0-10%)
- This position must pass a post-offer background and drug test
Preferred Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- CPA, CMA, or MBA
- Experience with JD Edwards 9.2
- Experience with Planful/OneStream
- Experience with Blackline
- Experience in the distribution or foodservice industry
