The opportunity
Help spark meaningful change by promoting economic development across the globe. You’ll be part of a group of project managers and consultants building relationships with US development agencies including the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), US Agency for International Development (USAID), United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA), US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), and others. This includes developing and fostering partnerships with clients and partner firms, proactively identifying potential opportunities, conducting bid capture, managing and developing proposals, managing projects, conducting technical analysis, and writing reports.
You’ll thrive in this role if you have project management experience and expertise working with or for US development agencies on infrastructure development projects, as well as experience developing new business and managing proposals.
Your impact
You’ll apply your project management, communication and analytical skills to solve complex infrastructure development projects. Projects typically span all infrastructure sectors including transport/logistics/trade facilitation, power, water and sanitation, as well as cross-cutting work on infrastructure finance/PPP/private sector development, and climate change mitigation/adaptation.
Your responsibilities
Under the leadership of our Global Director of US International projects, you’ll contribute to all stages of the project lifecycle:
- Lead and support business development efforts, including tracking market developments, leading capture efforts, writing proposals, building teams and developing budgets
- Provide technical inputs for infrastructure projects and write compelling and well-organized reports
- Manage or support project execution, including managing multidisciplinary teams of experts and their inputs, liaising with clients, and managing projects on time and budget
- Support our efforts to build the US international donor market
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and partners
- Contribute to marketing activities such as external thought leadership content, attending or speaking at conferences, helping with recruitment, or supporting administrative requirements

What you bring to the team
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in public policy, economics, international relations, business, or similar discipline
- Five or more years of professional experience
- Demonstrated project management experience in consulting or research settings including for US agencies such as USAID, MCC, USTDA, or DFC
- Experience with infrastructure sectors such as transport, power or others
- Have the legal right to work in the United States
- Can and willing to travel domestically and internationally as required
Desirable, but not required:
- Experience in the transport and logistics sector
- French, Spanish or Russian language proficiency
- Experience in developing countries
