Your Mission
As a Regional Sales Director at Tray.ai, you will lead and develop a team of high-performing Account Executives, driving the adoption and growth of our platform across your designated region. You will play a critical role in shaping the success of Tray.ai by participating in client and prospect meetings, collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams, and providing ongoing mentorship to your sales team. Your leadership will be pivotal in meeting and exceeding revenue goals, fostering customer relationships, and driving innovation using Tray’s Composable AI iPaaS.
What You Will Do
Leadership & Team Development:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives, ensuring they have the skills and support needed to succeed.
- Recruit, hire, and train new sales team members, instilling a deep understanding of the Tray.ai sales process.
- Provide ongoing coaching to direct reports, focusing on strategies that drive sales wins and career development.
Client Engagement & Sales Strategy:
- Lead and participate in key client and prospect meetings, engaging with C-level executives to position Tray.ai as a strategic partner.
- Develop and implement successful sales campaigns that drive customer awareness and engagement with Tray.ai's platform.
- Actively monitor demand generation activities and ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds sales targets.
Solution Design and Customization:
- Develop customized automation strategies that align with customer-specific requirements and objectives.
- Work with product, engineering, and delivery teams to ensure solutions are feasible and meet customer expectations.
Regional Strategy:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive regional strategy to maximize revenue potential within your area of responsibility.
- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify key opportunities and risks.
- Build and maintain strong regional partnerships to enhance Tray.ai's market presence and drive joint go-to-market strategies.
- In partnership with Marketing, own event planning within the region, including the organization of workshops, customer engagement events as well as industry related events to drive brand awareness and lead generation.
- Regularly review and adjust the regional strategy to respond to changing regional conditions and business priorities.
Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
- Accurately report on sales activity, pipeline health, and forecast performance to senior sales management.
- Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with internal teams, including Product, Marketing, and Pre/Post Sales Technical Teams, to ensure alignment on go-to-market strategies and seamless customer experiences.
- Collaborate with corporate resources to ensure consistent processes and drive overall team success.
Market Expansion & Customer Success:
- Lead initiatives to expand Tray.ai's presence in new markets and industries, identifying strategic opportunities for growth.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to customers, ensuring their success and long-term partnership with Tray.ai.

About You
Experience:
- 3+ years of sales leadership experience, ideally managing a team of quota-carrying sales professionals.
- Proven track record of leading successful sales teams in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience selling iPaaS (Integration Platform as a Service) solutions is a significant plus.
Skills:
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities with a focus on coaching and mentoring.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage C-level executives.
- Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.

Salary
If hired in the state of California, the on target total compensation for this role is $350,000-$390,000 annually.
Our salary range is based on paying competitively for our size, industry, and location of the role, and are one part of many other compensation, benefit and reward opportunities we provide, including stock options.
Individual pay rate decisions are based on a number of factors including qualifications for the role, experience level, skill set, and balancing internal equity relative to peers at the company.
