SUMMARY
Wiz is seeking a dynamic and experienced sales leader to drive our expansion into the US Federal market. Reporting directly to the VP of Public Sector Sales, you will be responsible for building and executing a go-to-market (GTM) strategy across the Department of Defense (DoD) and Civilian sectors. In this role, you will lead a team of high-performing sales executives, driving revenue growth and developing long-term relationships with key federal clients. Your expertise in the federal space, combined with your ability to align sales efforts with Wiz’s cutting-edge cloud security solutions, will be crucial to our success.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Lead and develop a high-performing federal sales team across DoD and Civilian sectors, driving success through tailored strategies and consistent execution.
- Build and execute comprehensive GTM plans that align with Wiz’s overall objectives and federal customer needs.
- Demonstrate deep knowledge of Wiz Cloud Security Solutions and effectively communicate their value to federal customers, ensuring alignment with mission-critical requirements.
- Identify new business opportunities within the US Federal space, leveraging your network and understanding of federal acquisition processes to expand Wiz’s presence.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product development, solutions engineering, and customer success teams to ensure an integrated approach to sales.
- Analyze sales performance metrics to continuously improve team efficiency and outcomes, ensuring alignment with revenue goals and federal market demands.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in the federal government to foster long-term partnerships.
- Stay informed on industry trends, compliance requirements, and procurement processes in the federal space, using this knowledge to guide strategy and sales execution.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- 8+ years of experience in federal sales leadership, with a strong focus on the Department of Defense and Civilian agencies.
- Proven track record of building and executing successful GTM strategies within the US Federal market, driving significant revenue growth.
- Demonstrated success in leading a team of enterprise and major account executives focused on federal sales.
- In-depth knowledge of federal procurement processes, compliance (including FedRAMP), and acquisition lifecycles.
- Strong understanding of cloud security solutions and their applicability within federal environments.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team management skills with the ability to inspire and drive performance.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with the capacity to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and navigate complex sales cycles in the federal space.
Candidates must meet EAR part 772 and ITAR 120.15 definition of a U.S. person (Any individual who is granted U.S. citizenship; or any individual who is granted U.S. permanent residence (green card holder); or any individual who is granted status as a “protected person”) and that they reside in the contiguous United States.
