TASTE SUCCESS |As our Head of Tax at HexClad you’ll be responsible for ensuring global tax compliance and developing strategic tax planning to optimize the company's financial position. You’ll manage international tax matters, including transfer pricing and VAT/GST, and oversee tax audits and disputes. As our Head of Tax you’ll collaborate closely with the finance team and other departments to align tax strategies with business initiatives and ensure accurate tax reporting. With a focus on continuous process improvement, you’ll implement best practices and technology solutions to enhance tax compliance and efficiency.
- Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all international, federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations. Oversee the preparation and review of all tax filings, including income, sales, and use tax returns.
- Tax Planning and Strategy: Develop and implement effective tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities and optimize tax positions. Provide strategic tax advice on business transactions, international expansions, and M&A.
- International Tax Management: Lead the management of international tax compliance, including transfer pricing, VAT/GST, and other cross-border tax matters. Collaborate with local and international tax advisors to ensure compliance and optimize tax positions globally.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, legal, and other business units to ensure alignment on tax strategies and compliance. Provide tax support and guidance for business initiatives and projects.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improve tax processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Implement best practices and technology solutions for tax compliance and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Tax, Accounting, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of international, federal, and state tax laws and regulations.
- Experience with partnership and C Corp structures.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to mentor and develop tax team members.
- 10+ years of experience in tax compliance, planning, and strategy, with a focus on international tax.
- Love of food and cooking! Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry a plus.
