As the Director of Organizational Learning & Development, you will be a key member of the Corporate Services team. You will be responsible for leading operational excellence initiatives within a fast-growing organization. You will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and evaluating programs that enhance employee skills, knowledge, and performance across all levels of the organization while building critical systems & processes that will accelerate growth. This position reports directly to the Chief Financial Officer.
Schedule:
Hybrid - office is open Monday-Friday. Employees may take advantage of hybrid work schedule by working remotely Monday and Friday while working onsite Tuesday-Thursday. Versique is located in St. Louis Park.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop a comprehensive learning and development strategy aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
- Identify current and future learning needs by analyzing organizational performance, skill gaps, and industry trends.
Program Design and Implementation:
- Design and oversee "Versique University," our proprietary training and development tool, which will encompass operational and technical processes, technical skills training, new hire training programs, compliance training, career development, and other training aligned with our "Continuous Improvement" core value.
- Ensure that learning initiatives are engaging, effective, and aligned with effective learning principles.
Learning Technology and Innovation:
- Evaluate, select, and implement learning technologies and platforms that enhance learning experiences and efficiency as needed.
- Be in tune with emerging industry trends and best practices in learning and development to continuously improve programs and delivery methods.
Performance Evaluation and Measurement:
- Collaborate with senior leaders to develop metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of learning programs.
- Analyze data to provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Change Management and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Ensure consistent operational approach across all businesses.
- Partner with our HR Director, division leaders, and other stakeholders to foster a performance-based organizational culture.
- Lead change management efforts related to learning initiatives and ensure alignment with our strategic growth plans.
Operational Technology Suite:
- Own the operational technology stack for Versique.
- Evaluate current and potential operational technology tools.
- Develop processes and systems for consistent usage across all businesses.
- Leverage technology and AI to drive operational efficiency and scale.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Organizational Development, Education or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in learning & development roles, with some experience in leadership roles, preferably in B2B service space.
- Experience within the Staffing and Recruiting industry is preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to take core concepts from a broad range of topics and articulate them in logical and digestible terms.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (LMS) and other learning technologies.
- Proven track record of driving organizational change through learning initiatives.
- Certification in organizational development, training, or related areas is a plus.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary Range: $140,000 - $155,000
