About The Position:
The Branch Manager I oversees and guides the Branch Sales team at a Level I branch, ensuring the attainment of production objectives and member service standards. Responsibilities encompass strategic planning, organizational management, leadership, and oversight of all branch operations, with a focus on business development within designated geographical areas. This role entails coaching and supervising branch operations to optimize efficiency and deliver exceptional member service.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Provide strong leadership to the Branch Sales team, setting clear objectives and expectations aligned with organizational goals.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that encourages teamwork, creativity, and accountability.
- Manage staffing needs, including recruitment, training, development, and performance evaluation of branch staff.
- Oversee all aspects of branch operations, including member service, sales, and administrative functions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective members, businesses, and community organizations, identifying and executing business development opportunities within the branch's market area.
- Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and support to branch staff to enhance their sales skills and service delivery.
- Address member inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, striving to exceed their expectations.
- Collaborate with other departments and branches to leverage resources, share best practices, and support cross-functional initiatives.
- Adhere to the Bank Secrecy Act by implementing appropriate procedures and fulfilling reporting requirements in accordance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of experience in a people leadership capacity
- 3-5 years of experience in banking or financial service industry
Skills & Competencies:
- Work independently to organize and prioritize tasks, manage time to meet deadlines, analyze requests, understand issues, and develop appropriate solutions.
- Understand simple and complex compliance matters, when applicable, to meet the statutory and regulatory requirements of assigned areas of responsibility.
- Communicate clearly and concisely via an appropriate level of verbal, written, and presentation skills. Also, possess the ability to read, comprehend and explain applicable documentation.
- Proficiently utilize a computer and the software applicable to this position.
- Ability to develop business cases that inform, persuade, and inspire action.
- Possess the ability to accurately perform basic arithmetic operations and calculations as appropriate for your position.
- Possess and maintain broad knowledge of the job functions required in the positions you directly supervise.
Physical Demands:
- While performing the duties of your job, you may regularly be required to sit and use a keyboard, multiple monitors, mouse, and telephone (including repetitive motions with hands, fingers, arms, etc.) for extended periods of time. You may also frequently be required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms, bend, and kneel.
- You may occasionally be required to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

Compensation & Benefits:
- $57,000.00-$79,000.00 per year
- Compensation is dependent on experience
- Medical, dental, and vision plans, where we cover 90% of employee costs and about 75% of the costs for their dependents
