Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Clerk to join the Accounting Department. The ideal candidate will assist with various administrative tasks to support the financial operations of the organization. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accurate financial records.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial documents and records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
- Input financial data into software with accuracy.
- Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes by verifying and processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
- Maintain organized files and documentation for easy retrieval and reference.
- Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding financial data and documentation.
- Assist with other general accounting projects as requested.
- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Assist in preparing reports and summaries as needed.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.
Qualifications needed :
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting or finance is a plus.
- Previous experience in an administrative or data-entry role.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
