Essential Functions: - Assist in the development of system models using MBSE tools and methodologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system models accurately represent requirements, design, and architecture.
- Support the analysis of system behavior through model simulations.
- Contribute to the creation of system documentation and reports.
- Participate in technical reviews and provide feedback on system designs.
- Engage in continuous learning to stay current with industry trends and best practices in MBSE.
- Familiarity with MBSE concepts, tools, and languages such as SysML.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work harmoniously in a team environment with government customers and other contractors
- Ability to negotiate solutions among functional groups (Systems Engineering, Mission Engineering, Software Engineering, etc.)
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills demonstrated by related work experience
- Strong coordination and organization skills with a focus on details
- Participate in agile execution, MBSE, and requirements analysis.
- Travel as needed.
Qualifications : - Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.
- Active Secret security clearance.
Preferred Additional Skills: - Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or adjacent field
- Experience with MBSE software (e.g., No Magic, Cameo, Rhapsody)
- DoD engineering experience, System Development Life Cycle knowledge, Familiarity with DoD 5000
- Experience with DoD Systems Engineering artifacts (SEP, SEMP, TEMP, CMP, DMP)
- Experience with INCOSE requirements writing guide
- Rational DOORs experience
- MagicDraw experience
- Experience with Agile methods
- Experience with Jira software
- System Development Life Cycle knowledge
- Experience with and knowledge of Space Domain Awareness mission and systems
- Experience with Engineering Drawings and traceability MagicDraw
In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role is $67,500.00 - $125,500.00. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
