JOB SUMMARY
- The Manager Finance is responsible for managing the annual forecasting/budgeting process, monthly financial variance reporting and other ad-hoc reporting. This role is responsible for the accurate reporting of expenses and operating/net income by entity and line of business.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS FOR THIS SUPPLY CHAIN FINANCE MANAGER ROLE
- Develop/Maintain Positive Stakeholder Relationships
- Direct reports, Off shore reports (EXL), sourcing team, Supply Chain leadership, REACH, Axiom (Budget Team) and Finance Ops Teams
- Communicate effectively when needed
- Being direct, short, & concise on what you need from team or leader
- Good steward of time management with off and on short direct reports
- Owns SCA Processes such as but not limited to:
- Realized Savings
- Rebates
- Compliance Dashboards
- Inflation Factors
- Functional Budget Reviews
- Supply Chain Finance Support
- Supply Expense Variance Analytics/Reporting
- Executive commentary on key supply trends/macro economics
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE ROLE
- Manages Financial Advisors to ensure development, implementation and administration of financial policies and practices.
- Identifies and provides opportunities for the staff to develop knowledge, skills and abilities needed to contribute to the success of the department.
- Prepares, administers, and monitors budget/forecast to maintain financial viability.
- Prepares and maintains profit and loss models for budget/forecast and "what-if" study.
- Manages day-to-day financial planning operations, collaborates with other teams, to ensure accuracy of data.
- Prepares all monthly financial reports and variance investigation.
- Provides reports to operations team to assist in adherence to budget. Works with department heads to ensure adherence to budget, identify any gaps and propose solutions to remedy.
- Collects necessary supporting statistical information to facilitate monthly journal entries.
- Oversees month end analytics and works with accounting team to ensure all monthly journal entries are reported correctly.
- Supports accounting team with regulatory audits.
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS
- A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business is required. A Master?s degree (e.g, MS, MBA) or equivalent (e.g., CPA, PE, etc.) is preferred.
- Supply Chain valued added proficiency with MS Office applications, SQL, Power Query, Power BI.
- Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word & Power BI
- Proficient technical and analytic skills
- Supply Rate/Mix/Volume variance analytics
- Sensitivity/What-if Modeling
- Develop New Data Tools (Data models, Axiom, Power BI)
- Proven leadership, management, data and communication abilities.
- Ensures that services are provided in a timely, accurate, effective, and cost-efficient manner and in compliance with established policies, procedures, and practices.
- Effectively implements department personnel policies and procedures in conjunction with selection, orientation, training, assignment and staffing, evaluation, discipline, and discharging employees in compliance with applicable employment regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS
- EDUCATION - Bachelor's or 4 years of work experience above the minimum qualification
- Some education/knowledge in Finance, Accounting or Analytics
- EXPERIENCE - 5 Years of Experience
- Preferably in the Supply Chain field
- Effective communicator both verbally and electronically
