This individual will serve as a Senior Technology Risk Analyst within the Deloitte US Firm’s Cyber Security, Risk & Compliance group. Primary responsibilities include performing information security risk assessment and deploying risk treatment techniques for both on-premises and cloud hosted IT applications and infrastructure.
Further, this individual will support the execution and continual enhancement of an information security risk assessment program, with emphasis on ISO 27001 or similar information security management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with developing and executing a repeatable risk assessment methodology.
- Empower ISO certification by identifying, leading, and coordinating risk management activities through interviews, documentation analysis, and coordination with multiple stakeholder teams.
- Apply the information security risk assessment process to identify risks associated with the loss of confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
- Identify inherent risk, evaluate current state, and determine residual risk posture for a variety of information technology asset categories and asset types.
- Evaluate information security threats and associated vulnerabilities.
- Prepare risk assessment report deliverables for management review.
- Coordinate with numerous stakeholder groups to develop risk remediation plans.
- Advance risk treatment initiatives to lower risk profile per asset target.
- Support initiatives to educate technology functions on security and compliance requirements.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Cyber Security vigilantly protects Deloitte and client data. The team leads a strategic cyber risk program that adapts to a rapidly changing threat landscape, changes in business strategies, risks, and vulnerabilities. Using situational awareness, threat intelligence, and building a security culture across the organization, the team helps to protect the Deloitte brand.

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with information technology security programs, audits, controls, assessments, risk assessments, or remediation management (e.g., SOC 2, ISO27001, ISO27017, NIST800-53, PCAOB, etc.).
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree preferred.
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google and associated risk management techniques.
- Strong communication, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and cross-functionally in a virtual team environment.
- Understanding of fundamental information technology and cloud computing concepts.
- Experience working with remote and virtual teams, specifically in the US.
- Experience with Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Archer).
- Industry certifications (e.g., CISA, CISM, CISSP, CCSP and/or other equivalent licenses/certifications).
- Experience with Microsoft Applications – Outlook, Excel, SharePoint, Teams.
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $72,900 – $149,700.
