SUMMARY:
Are you looking for an opportunity in the Healthcare industry or are currently working in healthcare and are looking for the next step in your career? If so, we have an exciting part-time entry-level opportunity for a newly created position, 20 - 30 hours per week. The Business Analyst will be a key member of the Healthcare Analytics supporting the Operations, Quality, and other corporate teams. This member will support the research and development of reporting tools, used by leadership to enhance organizational productivity and efficiency. It’s an internship role for the duration of 9-12 months.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Functional:
- Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Ability to document business analysis deliverables such as requirements, workflow diagrams, and testing documentation
- Independent worker with proven experience at multitasking and problem-solving
- Comfortable in researching, gathering, and managing requirements of the technology projects
Technical:
- Ability to perform at least the following in MS Excel: data lookup, text cleanup functions, Pivot Table, Power Query, Power Pivot, Slicer, conditional format using formula (50%)
- Moderate level experience in designing and troubleshooting user dashboards using data visualization tools not limited to Power BI, SAP Qualtrics Surveys XM platform, etc. (20%)
- Knowledge of automated data transformation without manually working on it every time is a plus (15%)
- Data entry and data repository management and coordination across the organization while researching and developing the best practice for long term (10%)
- Demonstrates proficiency in database reporting and maintenance skills while designing queries, reports in MS Access database as per the tickets (5%)
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS:
- A bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Analytics, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, or Business, with background in data analytics projects, required
- A minimum of one year’s full-time or two years’ part-time experience in data management/analytics, required
A set of technical interview questions will be used during interview screening to validate competencies in the above technical skills in MS Excel, Power BI, and Access.
