Job Overview:
Under general direction of the Vice President, Treasury Management, responsibilities include performing various financial and business analyses for the Treasury Management Department relating to debt management, the PFC program, investments, pension funds, financing options and federal grants. Maintain debt amortization schedules and work with Vice President and Financial Advisors in structuring future debt issues to meet financial goals of Airport. Prepare debt service budgets and review monthly transfers to Interest and Sinking Funds. Assist with the preparation and review of bond documents and offering documents. Assist Retirement Funds Manager in tracking, analyzing, and reporting on manager and portfolio performance.
What you will be doing:
- Assists with the preparation of bond documents and offering documents.
- Monitors debt service payments to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Assists the Vice President with debt issuances, including commercial paper.
- Works with Financial Advisors on structuring new debt and refunding.
- Prepares debt service budget and coordinates monthly transfers to Interest & Sinking Funds.
- Develops and/or coordinates various communications such as presentations targeted at internal and external audiences.
- Reviews monthly and quarterly pension reports and analyzes performance of the various managers.
- Reviews all pension capital calls and distribution notices, submits necessary documents to trustees, ensures capital calls are wired in a timely manner and ensures the distribution is recorded correctly.
- Assists other department employees in performing business analysis and preparing reports.
- Assists internal and external audit preparation.
What you need:
- Bachelor's degree in business or public administration, accounting, finance, or related field.
- Five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in financial analysis.
- Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be substituted for the above.
- Possession of a valid class C driver's license.

- Knowledge of municipal debt management, including continuing disclosure requirements.
- Knowledge of investment options for public retirement plans.
