The Staff Accountant is a results-oriented Accounting and Finance role that reports directly to the Accounting Manager, working closely with Operations and Sales to improve profitability and cash-flow.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end close for one or more operations.
- Maintain accurate and efficient filing of financial archive files and data.
- Ensure required department reports are completed and information is compiled at month-end closing.
- Complete assigned objectives to achieve financial services goals.
- Process payroll, and assist with the accounts receivable process.
- Ensure all payroll information is accurate and submitted on a timely basis.
- Ensure all sales reports and financial statements are accurate prior to distribution.
- Clearly communicate financial results to management on a regular basis.
- Provide accurate and targeted financial analysis as requested.
- Other duties, as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1+ years in a Finance/Accounting role.
- Operational experience in food and beverage is preferred.
- Accounting / Finance Degree preferred.
- High level of computer literacy with proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
