Key Responsibilities:

Handle payroll processing and benefits-related accounting tasks with precision.
Assist with monthly payroll journal postings and ensure compliance with payroll and insurance-related accounting policies.
Interact with internal and external customers using both verbal and written communication skills to discuss accounting processes or issues.
Analyze accounting activities and compile support to prepare recurring monthly journal entries.
Prepare various balance sheet reconciliations and account variance analyses to ensure the accuracy of financial data across multiple business units.
Provide support to Controllership, Tax and FP&A functions related to various other domestic and international accounting projects.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s and/or advanced degree in Accounting or Finance.
Experience with general journal postings, payroll accounting, and employee benefits.
Familiarity with GAAP accounting standards and payroll processing.
Experience with insurance-related accounting is a plus.
Ability to prioritize and balance multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy.
Ability to observe, analyze and communicate relevant information to help address problems and develop solutions.
Self-starter with ability to work independently.
Strong inter-personal, written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook; moderate to strong Excel skills a plus.
Familiarity with Dynamics 365 or a comparable ERP system a plus.
