Job Summary: As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for selling insurance policies to potential clients, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring client satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with clients to secure competitive insurance quotes
- Market and promote insurance products to generate leads
- Conduct inside sales meetings in person and on the phone with potential clients
- Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend suitable policies
- Handle sales administration tasks efficiently
- Utilize telemarketing techniques to reach out to prospective customers
Qualifications:
- Current Illinois Property & Casualty license
- Proven experience in retail sales or insurance sales is preferred (State Farm, Farmers, American Family, Nationwide, AAA)
- Strong ability to market and sell insurance products effectively
- Proficiency in analyzing clients' needs and recommending appropriate coverage
- Familiarity with sales practices is beneficial
- Understanding of telemarketing strategies in the insurance industry
