About the Role
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for several key Accounting work streams and deliverables with a key focus on month-end processes, accounting journals, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations. You will work closely with the rest of the Accounting team, the FP&A team, the CFO, and the wider business.
What You’ll Do
- Analyze and reconcile all general ledger accounts, prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
- Monitor bank balances and ensure accurate and timely record-keeping for all bank transactions.
- Manage month-end processes across the Group, including balance sheet and bank reconciliations.
- Support travel and staff expenses accounting processes.
- Manage fixed assets, intangible assets, prepayment, and lease schedules.
- Assist with the preparation of financial reports as required.
- Provide assistance and support to billing, payables, and payroll team members as needed.
- Assist with sales tax analysis and reporting for multiple states and countries.
- Help with financial and tax audits.
- Document and monitor internal controls.
- Work on complex accounting projects and initiatives with other members of the accounting and finance teams or with other departments.
- Maintain the general ledger, assist with audit preparations, and perform other accounting duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience.
- Intermediate experience with enterprise accounting systems like NetSuite.
- Advanced skills in spreadsheets and G-Suite applications.
- Tech-savvy and experienced in multiple accounting and financial apps and systems.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Ability to meet a constant stream of deadlines.
- Ability to work closely with other accounting & FP&A team members and cost center leaders.
