Job Overview
The Sr Manager, Reporting and Analytics leads a team highly skilled, driven and intelligent analytics and reporting analysts, with direct accountability for providing financial, regulatory and operation reporting solutions. This role will lead the team to deliver reporting solutions that can provide leadership insights of managing programs, ensure the programs are in compliance with federal and local government regulations, drive SOX compliant reporting for financial booking, and support/monitor operational compliance of those programs. This role requires strong leadership and management skills, strong understanding of all TMUS enterprise database structure and design, strong understanding of relationship among front-end, back-end and reporting systems, and strategic thinking to enable the generation of the most effective reporting solutions.
Job Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of business analysts while building a strong culture around results and values.
- Leads the development, interpretation, and ongoing operations of analytics for business steering activities including in-quarter steering, next quarter planning, focusing on subscribers & revenue metrics, including disconnects.
- Gathers, analyzes, prepares, and summarizes recommendations for strategic base steering plans, trended future requirements, and operating forecasts.
- Use statistical and financial modeling techniques to analyze results and identify variances and underlying causes, opportunities, and risks.
- Provide actionable insights around trends within base dynamics.
- Present findings to Senior Management, including suggestions for course correction.
- Lead the development of key performance indicators and benchmarks across accounts, markets, business units, and channels; develop process for measurement and reporting; communicate results to leadership via dashboards and reports.
- Work internally and with strategic partners (including FP&A) to ensure findings are shared in a timely manner and to ensure alignment.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in a Quantitative discipline, preferably Industrial Engineering, Statistics or Math (Required).
Work Experience:
- 7-10 years of relevant professional experience.
- 2-4 years of experience managing direct reports.
- Relevant experience preferred in one or more of the following (or related) categories: telecommunications, consumer electronics, and/or reverse logistics.

Base Pay Range: $121,100 - $218,500
Corporate Bonus Target: 20%
The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range.
At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
