About the role
Bedford Court is a high-quality registered care home that offers older people a relaxed, safe, and welcoming place to live.
As a General Assistant with the Joseph Rowntree Housing Trust, you will make a real and positive difference to the lives of older people.
You will work as part of a friendly and dedicated team of cleaners to ensure the resident’s rooms and communal areas are clean and tidy in order to provide a quality living environment for residents. You will also develop good relationships with our residents and be prepared to be flexible in your duties such as helping with breakfast provision and talking to residents.
There is also the potential opportunity to progress your social care career in the future if this is something you would like to do.
About you
You will need to:
- Have good communication skills.
- Have a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Be flexible and comfortable being part of a team.
- Be hardworking.
- Have the ability to work on your own initiative.
If you have cleaning experience or have worked in a care environment this would be beneficial although full training will be provided.
