Our client performs structural concrete repairs, carbon fiber strengthening, waterproofing, resinous flooring, and protective lining installations. They are currently seeking Superintendents for bridge and road construction, as well as other infrastructure construction projects.
As a Project Superintendent, you will be in charge of the daily oversight of multiple projects. You will manage the project schedule, drawings, and specifications as well as the coordination of subcontract requirements of the job. You will identify causes of project cost variances while working to eliminate negative impacts. You will identify potential project risks while looking for ways to reduce them. You will have daily interface with employees, clients, suppliers, and will need the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. You will not only need creative problem-solving skills, but also the ability to think on your feet in order to maintain the project schedule and project profitability. We are looking for someone who will take ownership of a project and make sure it is handled right the first time.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Overall management of project field operations
- Create and manage project schedules and budgets with Project Manager
- Coordination of subcontracts, drawings, and specifications for the projects under your direction
- Identify the causes of cost variances and eliminate negative impacts
- Control construction costs and waste
- Identify potential project safety and construction-related risks and work to eliminate them
- Communicate quality standards to all on the project team under your direction
- Conduct regular QA/QC inspections
- Follow company safety programs, laws, and OSHA operating standards with a “safety first” attitude
- Prepare daily time cards for personnel under supervision
- Prepare daily logs and reports as required for each project
- Manage job site cleanliness
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5 years of construction field management experience preferred
