Strive is launching its Wealth Management business following the July closing of a $30 million Series B financing round led by Cantor Fitzgerald, and we are looking for mission-aligned, best-in-class talent to help us drive success as we build this new business.
Position Summary:
Strive is searching for a Financial Advisor with an existing book of business, willing to deepen existing relationships and grow our Wealth Management business through new client relationships with the firm. In this role, you will report directly to the President of Wealth Management and work closely with our investment team to deliver excellence for our clients.
This team will deliver the full scope of the firm's wealth and investment services to individuals and their families, foundations, and endowments. The Financial Advisor is a senior position and will play an integral role in the firm's growth strategy.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- This role maintains an existing book of business and prospects for new opportunities.
- Grow and develop business, add to the firm’s assets under management and drive revenue growth.
- Create and execute marketing plans to drive new client relationships. Advisors are expected to leverage referrals, existing network, and outbound relationship building tactics to connect and onboard new clients to Strive’s Wealth Management platform.
- Utilize the firm’s full suite of wealth management capabilities to ensure that clients’ investment objectives and goals are met.
- Work closely with the firm's financial planning team to develop individually tailored financial plans based on a client’s goals, objectives, and risk profile.
- Effectively service client relationships by staying informed of each client’s financial situation and responding to any changes that affect the client’s investment goals and objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Existing book of business required.
- At least 3 to 7 years of experience as an advisor at a reputable RIA, Bank or Brokerage firm.
- Strong communication and analytical skills, highly organized, detail-oriented, demonstrate initiative, and good judgment coupled with the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Able to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks to ensure clients’ requests are completed in a timely manner.
- Required licenses: you must have either:
- Series 66 license, or
- Series 65 license
- Bachelor’s degree
- CFP/CWA certifications are an advantage but not required.
