Category Partners, LLC is seeking an Analyst to help our vast and growing array of grower-shipper clients make more intelligent decisions by generating insights and creating customized tools and models.
The successful candidate will be responsible for determining our clients’ needs, gathering and prepping their data, analyzing and interpreting data, model building, and presenting clients with actionable insights. Travel, generally ranging from 1 to 3 nights, may be occasionally required.
** Reporting Relationship:**
The position reports to the Director of Analytics and is located in Idaho Falls, ID.

Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of work experience dealing with data analytics and processing
- Proficiency in a programming language, Python preferred
- Proficiency in a SQL variant
- Proficiency in Excel
- Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or any other visual analytic tools
- Experience using data preparation tools such as Alteryx and Snowflake
- Ability to manage large datasets including performing data wrangling and preprocessing
- Ability to manipulate, analyze and interpret data
- Ability to meet tight timelines
- Strong oral, written, and presentation skills
Preferred but not required:
- BA/BS in a STEM
- Knowledge of the produce industry
- Experience in statistical modeling packages in R or Python
