Description
Idaho National Laboratory is hiring a Project Controls Analyst to work in our Project Controls department. Our team works a 4x10 schedule located out of our Materials and Fuels Complex (MFC) with every Friday off.
INL is recognized as the lead national laboratory for the United States Department of Energy, Office of Nuclear Energy, providing much of the nuclear research, development, and demonstration capability needed to move nuclear innovation forward to deployment.
Responsibilities Include:
- Collaborate with project managers to coordinate project control activities from project creation through execution.
- Assist project managers, Project Schedulers, and Project Engineers on defining project scope/requirements.
- Identify and mitigate risks, submit cost estimates, determine and implement scope, schedule, and budget baselines.
- Collect, analyze, trend, forecast and report on project data from various sources (e.g. P6, COBRA).
- Help maintain analysis, trending, forecasting, and reporting processes.
- Review and support ongoing updates to EVMS metrics.
- Help develop the Performance Measurement and Performance Baseline.
- Ensure INL Managers are aware of all changes to work that can/will change the outcome of the work.
- Work-level knowledge of P6 including schedule resource loading.
- Direct work experience on construction contracts.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's and 2 years of experience, Master's and 0 years, or PhD and 0 years in business administration, Project Management, Construction Management, or related field.
- Experience with project controls systems or MS Office.
- This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Energy ('Q') clearance, which requires US Citizenship.
Job Information:
- The pay range for this position is Level 2 ($63,528 - $130,284).

- TDP: This is a testing designated position; you will be required to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and periodic drug testing throughout the term of your employment.
