JOB SUMMARY:
Provide exceptional customer service for Commercial Lending customers, participate in relationship planning and enhancement of business relationships, loan operations management, and credit analysis.
PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Responsible for new business development. Maintains positive relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and business retention.
- Maintains a working knowledge of all bank products and services. Recognizes cross-sale opportunities and refers sales opportunities in response to customer needs.
- Works closely with Loan Operations to ensure a transparent transition from pipeline business to booked loans. Resolves operational problems and recommends alternative procedures for daily loan administration.
- Manages credit and Guarantor files to ensure bank compliance. Routinely checks files for accuracy and to make certain all required documents are present.
- Collects, verifies, and validates credit information and prepares credit write-ups/annual reviews for loan committee. Assists manager with credit underwriting, financial statement analysis, and preparing credit summaries.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years Commercial Lending experience
- Exemplary customer service and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail with a high level of proficiency and accuracy
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical ability
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize
- General knowledge of financial accounting theory and logic
- Proficient with PC software and applicable mainframe systems
- Proficient with Excel
