MGM Healthcare provides rehabilitation, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, and independent living centers in Iowa, Missouri and Oklahoma. Our centers provide on-site therapy and rehabilitation services - using the latest equipment and techniques - that run the gamut from physical and occupational therapy to special memory units and respite care. Our corporate office is located in St. Louis, Missouri.
This position will be based out of the home office and move between facilities as needed throughout Missouri, Iowa, and Oklahoma.
Position Summary
This position provides leadership and direction to Revenue Cycle operations for all centers, including revenue optimization, collections, system optimization and ensure best practices resulting in a highly effective Revenue Cycle Department for all of MGM Healthcare. Directing the Revenue Cycle department by setting process and outcome metric goals while ensuring continuous progress for overall success of the Revenue Cycle Department. Responsible to ensure the overall revenue cycle goals for the organization are met. Directs and provides oversight and expertise to ensure the successful optimization and utilization of the billing module for MGM Healthcare.
Overview:
- Reports to the VP of Reimbursement.
- Provides leadership and oversight to the Regional Business Office Managers (RBOM) and the Business of Managers (BOM) at all centers.
- Ensures that MGM Policies and Procedures are developed, maintained, and implemented consistently.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a workflow process in order to reduce accounts receivable balances for Medicaid Pending and Private Pay, which includes determining appropriate resolution of account balances and standardizations of revenue cycle across all centers.
- Establish policies and procedure for billing and collection of Medicaid Pending and Private Pay at the Central Billing Offices and Center level.
- Incorporates best practices into MGM’s Policies and Procedures and uses them to develop and guide RBOMs and BOMs.
- Assists with hiring, onboarding, training, and continuing professional development of RBOMs and BOMs.
- Determines root cause of issues related to Accounts Receivable and develops processes/action plans.
- Directs and oversees the optimization of billing modules in an effort to ensure accurate billing and reporting in the most efficient manner.
- Directs all duties and functions of the RBOM and BOM positions.
- Defines Revenue Cycle goals and metrics in line with national benchmarks and ensure Revenue Cycle meets these goals.
- Timely billing and collections of Medicaid, Private Pay, and Hospice for MGM’s Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs).
- Ensures that accounts receivable reviews are conducted consistently and timely with a focus on delivering successful billing and collection results at all centers.
- Oversees month-end close activities including RAM workflow, census reconciliation, and proper cash posting.
- Oversee Resident Account Trust Accounts (i.e. RFMS), resident refund requests.
- Ensures successful Medicaid application process is in place at all centers.
Requirements:
- Associates Degree or relevant work experience
- At least two (2) years of experience as SNF Regional Business Office Manager
- At least three years of experience with Medicaid, including the application process
- Experience using PointClickCare (PCC) preferred

Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Travel Requirements:
Willingness and ability to travel between centers is required.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time management position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
