Responsibilities: Assist the F-35 Acquisition and Integration office by providing administrative, program management, technical, or business analysis of major DoD acquisition systems and providing recommendations to ensure program success. Support the tracking of program/project status and schedules. Provide program administrative management in support of the Acquisition and Integration office including security management, meeting support, resource tracking, correspondence, and administrative functions.
Education: An AS or AA degree from an accredited institution as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Allowable Substitution: A High School diploma and an additional four (4) years of relevant experience can be substituted for an AS or AA degree.
Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in defense acquisition program management related to weapon systems acquisition and life-cycle management. Possess demonstrated experience in Joint Service or international cooperative projects within the DoD or other government agency. Familiar with DoD acquisition process, procedures and documentation. Possess demonstrated experience working with foreign disclosure and releasability processes and procedures. Possess a high degree of self-initiative, the ability to work independently performing duties, and function as part of an interdisciplinary team in a high tempo environment. Knowledge of or ability to acquire knowledge of DTS, MPS/DefenseReady, ETMS2 and Accolade software systems. Experience in developing and managing formal task management processes and toolsets. Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel. Possess exceptional written and verbal communication skills; demonstrated experience in preparing and effectively presenting senior level briefs and reports.
Other: An Active Secret Security Clearance is required.
