Job Description:
This position assists with completing product quality checks for Dickies garments.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of this position is to conduct routine measuring, testing, and analysis of garments. The job duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Follow SOPs for production and preparatory processes within Inbound Audits, UL Testing, Investigations, Projects, Quality Returns and Post Pack (Outbound) stations.
- Examines garment and parts for defects, such as unfinished raw edges, broken buttons or hooks, uneven stripes or plaids, puckers in seams, loose threads or stitches, or incorrect packaging assortment. Measure garments for accuracy and quality. Examines all bales for case pack accuracy.
- During outbound inspections, auditors will examine garments for all required VAS and any garment defects.
- Document quality control issues by using excel templates and keying results into New Generation Computing Database (NGC) or SmartPack 1.2.
- Send findings of results by email
- Marks rejected garments per SOP.
- Adjust and create new bale ids if needed.
- Marks rejected garments per SOP.
- Scanning bales into Quality area for inspections.
- Scanning bales out of Quality area whether stock or irregular product.
- Down stacking and sorting bales for inspections.
- Other duties as assigned by Quality Management.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent. Must have solid understanding of fractions, measurements, and math. Must have basic computer skills (Word, Excel).
Language Skills
Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to derive and utilize simple mathematical problems, including fractions and decimals. This requirement is used to understand garment measurements to standard.

Must be able to work by self and in a team environment and maintain a positive attitude within Operations.
Hiring Range:
$15.20 USD - $19.00 USD per hour
