The American Heart Association has a phenomenal opportunity for an Oracle Fusion Financial Analyst.
This position will collaborate and interact with the Accounting/Finance/Procurement departments to ensure efficient delivery of technology projects. The position will be responsible for the support, configuration, enhancement, testing, support, and training of the finance-related business systems, in particular Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and its ancillary systems. The position will be responsible for gathering, eliciting, documenting, and communicating business requirements in clear, detailed user stories or use cases, and translating into functional requirements.

Responsibilities
- Perform Oracle Fusion cloud ERP configuration changes, manage customization, build OTBI and Fusion Analytics reports, support interfaces and user training.
- Provide support on Oracle modules including Procurement, GL, AP, AR, FA, Projects, Subscription, and OM.
- Provide assistance and expertise with key system processes (i.e. process of month-end, quarter-end and year-end close processes).
- Drive best practices for the Oracle ERP modules to be audit and SOX compliant.
- Define and execute test scripts and test scenarios.
- Identify opportunities for improvement in operational performance and notify management of issues and problems requiring immediate attention.
- Work cross-functionally in analyzing, designing, and developing business solutions.
- Provide analytical support for multiple projects simultaneously, establish work plans and timelines, coordinate with internal and external resources.
- Develop and execute test plans for identified features, lead integration and user acceptance testing with cross-functional teams.
- Support the business process transformation initiatives to improve efficiencies around critical activities.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Finance/Accounting, Computer Science, Math or other related fields or 7+ years equivalent job experience.
Qualifications
- Oracle ERP Cloud experience in multiple modules: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Asset Management, Procurement, Expenses, Order Management, Subscription Management, Projects, Enterprise Contracts and Financial Consolidation.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting Oracle ERP. At least 2 years should be from Oracle Cloud SaaS.
- 5+ years business analysis experience, gathering requirements and documenting process flows for business applications, particularly the finance/accounting aspects of ERP systems.
- Experience in evaluating Oracle Fusion quarterly patches, assessing business impact, testing, and ensuring compatibility across Oracle Cloud Application Suites.
- Experience in creating and managing Service Requests (SRs), demonstrating proficiency in troubleshooting, communication with Oracle support, and understanding severity levels for timely resolution.
- Experience in planning and requesting Oracle to refresh various Oracle Cloud Suite applications POD is required.
- Skilled in requirements gathering and documenting techniques including user requirement functional definitions, process flows, and business gap analysis.
- Strong problem solver that is proactive and customer-focused when delivering and supporting IT solutions.
- Effectively can analyze, scope, and prioritize product backlog.
- Proven ability to learn quickly, work independently, and adapt to change in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with delivering custom reports and/or dashboards using tools such as OTBI, Fusion Analytics Warehouse, Tableau.
- Adept at writing running SQL queries and other similar commands.
- Experience in Oracle EPM FCCS, PBCS & ARCS a plus.
