Days are spent seeing outpatients, working up diagnostic cases, addressing hospitalized patient care, and performing surgeries as skills allow. The practice is focused on dogs and cats and is open Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 8:00 to Noon. Associate Veterinarians typically work 4.5 days a week, rotating Saturdays as the schedule demands.
High-quality medical and surgical care is offered, and the practice is affiliated with a local 24-hour emergency practice that takes all after-hours emergency cases. The doctors have access to ultrasound, CT, and MRI through a local, un-affiliated practice. This allows the team to practice a high-quality level of care for patients. The practice is equipped with a full lab, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ISO/sevo anesthesia, pulse oximetry/ECG/BP anesthesia monitoring, etc.
Qualifications:
A DVM/MVD degree with U.S. and IL license credentials. Experience is preferred, but the practice is open to a new graduate.
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary plus commission based upon production. The practice offers a nice benefits package.
