Our client is hiring an experienced Associate Veterinarian (2 yrs + and exotics experience is a plus) for its hospital in Phoenix, AZ. The client has a beautiful facility with 6 examination rooms, dual table surgery suite, separate dental suite, and boarding and grooming facilities. In-house laboratory capabilities and close association with external full-service clinical and pathological laboratories are available. Access to a board-certified surgeon for hip replacement, knee, soft tissue, and TTA surgeries, Isoflurane anesthesia, electro-surgery, and ultrasonic dental equipment is provided. Excellent surgical monitoring capabilities including oscilloscope and pulse oximetry, ultrasound machine, complete pharmacy, and a large inventory of established pharmaceuticals as well as many of the latest developments including access to compounded drugs.
Qualifications included:
- A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree, or equivalent, from an accredited university
- Licensure in good standing to practice in the state in which the applicant is to be employed
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics
- Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation with colleagues and clients
