Overview/Job Responsibilities:
Sev1Tech is searching for a Quality and Safety Assurance Analyst. The Quality and Safety Assurance Analyst will support the implementation, operation, and improvement of meshONE-Terrestrial (T), a scalable, resilient, cyber‐secure data transport network supporting United States Space Force (USSF) and Air Force (USAF) missions. meshONE‐T is the ground component of the larger meshONE concept and will eventually integrate with the Air and Space components of meshONE to provide an end‐to‐end network solution across all mediums, environments, and warfighting domains.
- Coordinate with Mission Partner and/or host facility personnel to gain an understanding of specific site safety standards, processes, procedures and gear. Ensure the Service Delivery Team are fully aware and prepared to follow all provided guidance.
- Collaborate with the Mission Partner, Design and Delivery Team to understand the design of the delivery, how to interface with the local site, and any specific safety checks that may be applicable to each delivery.
- Provide input to the Installation and Checkout Plan to account for all safety and quality steps that must be completed.
- Review change requests to assess potential safety concerns and provide feedback to the CM Team.
- Provide support to the Government customer in the development of system safety artifacts in accordance with MIL-STD-882E Section 4 and in coordination with the Service Design Team.
- Travel to delivery locations and conduct physical configuration audits to validate drawing accuracy, document findings and work with the Service Delivery Team to close all findings. Provide reports to the Configuration Manager.
- Complete all required safety inspections, confirm all safety protocols are followed, document completion in the Installation and Checkout Plan for the delivery.
- Provide Quality Assurance support to Logistics, as necessary.
Salary Range: $100,000 to $120,000
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years’ experience reviewing and interpreting technical drawings
- Understanding of how to conduct various safety inspections
- Strong oral and written skills able to talk with technical subject matter experts, government civilians, and military personnel of varying rank
- Excellence in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Outlook, etc)
- Travel: 60% to CONUS and OCONUS locations, as required for delivery of capabilities
Security Clearance: Top Secret/SCI Eligible
Desired Qualifications:
- Configuration Management experience
- Working knowledge of MIL-STD-882E
- Prior military experience is a plus
- Ability to research and understand Quality and Safety documentation
