Description
The Associate Financial Advisor will work closely with one of Addison Avenue's top-performing financial advisors, managing and nurturing the existing client relationships, ensuring excellent client service, and supporting the growth of the business. This role will provide comprehensive financial planning, investment advice, and portfolio management to clients, with a primary focus on assisting the senior advisor in managing high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients.

Job Duties
- Operational Support:
- Collaborate with the assistant to ensure smooth operations and client satisfaction.
- Handle administrative tasks related to client accounts, including paperwork, scheduling, and other follow-up.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Assist the senior advisor in managing all client relationships.
- Act as the primary contact for clients assigned by the Senior Advisor, ensuring consistent communication and exceptional service.
- Develop deep relationships with clients to understand their financial goals and needs.
- Financial Planning & Advice:
- Conduct financial planning reviews and update financial plans as needed.
- Partner with Senior Advisor on client investment strategy.
- Provide investment advice and recommendations based on clients' risk tolerance and objectives.
- Support the senior advisor in managing larger client portfolios.
- Business Development:
- Identify opportunities to gather additional assets from existing clients.
- Assist in onboarding new clients referred by the senior advisor's network.
- Develop strategies to deepen relationships with clients' relatives and friends.
Essential Skills
- Minimum 3 years' client-facing experience in the investment or wealth management field, including experience in a consultative service role.
- Demonstrated ability to use discretion and judgment when working with clients, professionally handling sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to coordinate a variety of activities and projects simultaneously and prioritize daily work.
- Ability to assess individual client needs and foster strong relationships.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external business partners.
- Possess an in-depth understanding of the financial industry, financial concepts, and the mathematics behind them.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn Raymond James-specific applications.
- Exposure to a CRM such as Salesforce is preferred.
- Minimum Education: High School Diploma; Bachelor's degree is preferred or equivalent work experience.
- Certification/License: Series 7, 63 & 65 or 66 FINRA licenses, Life & Disability Insurance License.
Location: Boise Community Experience Center
Target Compensation in Boise, Idaho: $56k - $68k annually + Commission
