Required Qualifications
The Senior Data Analyst will be responsible for providing business analysis and development of analytic solutions supporting the Prior Authorization program. A successful candidate will develop a solid understanding of Prior Authorization’s programs and products and utilize data querying (SQL/Python) and visualization (Tableau) tools to advance business objectives. The Senior Data Analyst will develop a working relationship with the clinical management staff and build out automated reporting tools to streamline processes and create efficiencies. They will use advanced analytical programming skills to provide insights and recommendations on overall quality and clinical effectiveness of programs and projects.
Minimum Qualifications
- 1 Year experience with data extraction, reporting, and analyzing metrics.
- 1 year experience with MS Office Products, SAS and/or other analytical tools.
- Proficient with SQL and Python.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau to create dashboards for non-data users.
- Ability to effectively communicate and present to management team.
- Ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines and manage competing demands.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with healthcare or PBM data.
- Experience working with cloud data.
Education
Bachelors degree in related field or equivalent experience.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is: $46,988.00 - $102,000.00. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
