Job Title: Senior Credit Analyst- Mid Market

What you'll do:
The position of Senior Credit Analyst is responsible for spreading, managing, and maintaining financial background information on present and prospective customers, and prepares credit actions and memos for the Portfolio and Relationship Managers. Position includes managing spread assignments, conducting financial analyses, and maintaining related records and files. Additional responsibilities include portfolio maintenance, counterparty analysis and providing support for a variety of credit requests.
What we are looking for:
- Performs financial statement analyses, typically involving complex and interlocking relationships for clients in the private real estate lending industry.
- Collects, organizes, analyzes company financials to ensure Bank compliance, and updates the Bank's systems accordingly.
- Analyzes collateral information to determine the risk involved in lending money to customers.
- Assists lending officers and underwriters on credit matters such as new loans, annual renewals and change in terms requests.
- Reviews client financials and performs sensitivity analysis to evaluate credit risk in connection with Bank structures.
- Collaborates cross-functionally with Bank groups to execute treasury management products, foreign exchange instruments, derivatives as well as legal documents.
- Analyzes commercial lending and mortgage industry trends and tailors credit actions and recommendations to current market conditions. Informs CCO/Loan Officers of relevant trends of specific loans, portfolios, or industries.
- Provides credit information and references for customers, loan officers, or other agencies as requested.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- College degree (BA) from a four (4) year College or University including completion of accounting course(s).
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial statements.
- Two to Three years of experience as Credit Analyst role.
- Strong analytical, conceptual, communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- An interest in working in the Commercial Business Banking industry.
