Position Summary:
This position requires a hands-on and highly detail-oriented individual who will participate in support activities including Sales and Margin Analysis, Product Mix Analysis, New Opportunities, Operations Performance and KPIs, and Monthly Closing Process and Reporting. This individual will work under the guidance of the Principal Financial Analyst and will be dedicated to the Commercial Sales, Marketing, and Commercial Product Management organizations.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Work with the Principal Financial Analyst to support the annual budget and near-term forecasting process.
- Support recurring sales forecasting activities as required.
- Create and publish monthly variance analysis reporting for the Commercial Sales & Marketing teams covering P&L performance, departmental spending, headcount, product sales & margins.
- Support the Accounting team on monthly/quarterly closes, including calculation of monthly accruals and preparation of journal entries.
- Serve as lead Pricing Coordinator, ensuring approved pricing is loaded into EBS and the pricing process is followed.
- Proactively assess risk, develop alternatives, and implement recommendations to ensure the Commercial Business Unit meets its financial and strategic commitments.
- Conduct regular maintenance on internal financial reporting systems including Hyperion Essbase, Cognos, & Oracle as required.
- Ensure all reporting and planning deadlines are adhered to and all information is reviewed for accuracy, consistency & integrity as agreed with the Business and supplied in a timely & efficient manner.
- Provide ad hoc reporting and presentation support as required.
Experience / Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
- At least 3 to 5 years of Financial Planning & Analysis or Operational Finance experience, with experience supporting Sales or Marketing being a plus.
- Advanced degrees and other qualifications are a plus but not required.
Skills/Requirements & Personal Attributes:
- Exceptional knowledge of Microsoft Office, including advanced skills in Excel for working with large sets of data.
- Prior experience with Hyperion or similar planning tools (OneStream, TM1, Profix) required. Experience with ERP Systems (Oracle or similar) is a plus.
- Prior experience within the manufacturing industry is desired.
- Must have excellent analytical skills and a sound understanding of accounting principles.
- Strong communication, presentation, leadership, interpersonal, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Well organized, detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and self-directed with the ability to relate to all levels of an organization.

Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend and twist, lift and move files.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Must wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) where required.
