We are expanding rapidly and are ready to add a Land Acquisition Manager to our team.
Overview We are hiring a Land Acquisition Manager to be based in Dallas. The position will be responsible for growing their market. The position will develop and employ a land search strategy for the acquisition of land tracts and or finished lots consistent with company objectives.
Job Requirements
Establish strong relationships with developers, landowners, brokers, builders, and third-party vendors, etc., along with other related parties to ensure access to potential opportunities & information on deals transacting in your established region.
Direct & manage the identification of opportunities for lots/land, issue Letters of Intent (LOI's), conduct and complete negotiations, complete proforma financial analysis, and purchase agreements for the acquisition of lots/land.
Direct & manage land packages for all acquisition opportunities including all data gathering & analysis, preparation & timely delivery of land packages to corporate for approval.
Knowledge & Skills:
Ability to make quick and accurate decisions based heavily on facts, data, and/or metrics
Demonstrate leadership capabilities, including strategic planning, proven ability to deliver results
Understand the current market and industry trends
Ability to connect with people, and develop and maintain professional relationships
Action-oriented, with the drive to push for a successful close in acquisitions
Strong verbal & written communication, with the ability to take complex concepts and communicate accurately and persuasively
Proven ability to lead and execute strong oral presentations
Strong ability to work within a team setting, inclusive of other's ideas, and a willingness to cooperate & collaborate to solve complex problems
Education
Undergraduate degree, preferably in a related field (Finance/Economics, Engineering, Real Estate, Planning, Civil Engineering, Real Estate Development & etc.).
Minimum of 3 years of verifiable land acquisition activities, entitlement, and site development experience required
