About the Role
Parametrix is offering an outstanding career opportunity for a Bridge & Structures Growth Leader to join our team in Washington, Oregon, or Idaho. You will join the Bridge & Structures team in one of our Parametrix office locations - Boise, Bend, Bremerton, Eugene, Portland, Puyallup, Seattle, and Vancouver.
You will join our Senior Bridge Leaders to play an important part in advancing our Bridge & Structures market strategy, providing important mentorship, and offering technical guidance to our team. Our Bridge & Structures division plays a crucial role in enhancing our transportation infrastructure by supporting clients in locating, surveying, designing, inspecting, and maintaining bridges, highway structures, and other specialized constructions. We are working on critical infrastructure such as the Interstate Bridge Replacement Program, highway and corridor projects, and PELs.
You will be in a regional role with connections to our Southwest region, facilitating collaboration with our bridge and structural team members across the company.
You Will:
- You will focus on business development and client management and contribute to technical work at either a Project Manager (PM) or Principal-in-Charge (PIC) level, depending on client requirements and project needs.
- Shape the vision and business strategy in collaboration with senior regional leadership and existing bridge & structures leaders to foster growth in the bridge and structures practice through business development and project management.
- Lead and cultivate client relationships with state and local agencies, municipalities, tribes, private sector entities, and teaming partners.
- Identify opportunities, participate in pre-positioning with clients, and develop compelling proposals to secure new business.
- Collaborate with senior leaders and Project Managers (PMs) to expand the Bridge & Structures team, aligning efforts with regional and companywide strategic goals.
You Have:
- 15+ years of experience and demonstrated leadership in the A/E industry, with a specialization in bridge & structures. Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Structural Engineer (SE) license strongly preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Experience with procurement and selection processes.
- Established professional relationships with important regional clients.
- Collaborate across services to position our firm for major business opportunities.
- Strong skills in communication, leadership, project management, and staff development.
Compensation Information: Base salary for this position is in the range of $170,000-$200,000. Compensation is determined by factors such as education, experience, location, and role. As employee-owners, we are eligible for performance-based bonuses and our salaries are reviewed annually. We value transparency and look forward to discussing our compensation structure.
