The Opportunity:
CACI is seeking Continuous Process Improvement/Project Consultants to work as part of an integrated team developing the future state process change needs for large Naval installations. This entails supporting a diverse team of professionals by providing facilitation, consulting, and project support. This will require balancing multiple teams’ initiatives and operations at both the strategic and tactical levels. Required support will include, but will not be limited to, running meetings, facilitating, developing process documentation, designing key performance indicators, capturing strategic plans, leading as-is assessments of internal and external organizational engagement practices and communication procedures, gathering and analyzing data, researching best practices, mapping processes, anddeveloping/recommendingalternative solutions for improvement.
Responsibilities:
Perform Independent Assessments of Shipyard CNO availabilities, to include Inside Shop, integrate with project teams (attending meetings and facilitating discussions) identifying barriers or gaps in the system and provide accurate, fact-based recommendations to mitigate.
Enhance the methods, tools, effectiveness, and outcomes of Naval Shipyard Innovation and Implementation and ensuring alignment with corporate initiatives.
Lead the capture, documentation, redesign, and solutions implementation of corporate operations processes, including continuous process improvement of operations via operations research, process optimization, process improvement, SixSigma, or Lean (or Lean Six Sigma).
Foster an open exchange of ideas and best management practices; build business acumen and relationships; and enhance the professional knowledge, skills, and abilities of NAVSEA Transformation Office (NTO), Transformation Management Office (TMO), Shipyard Leadership, Champions, and Pillar Leads personnel at all levels of the Command.
Develop process recommendation documents, including presentations, process maps, supporting metrics, business requirements and related impact analyses for complex processes or for portions of larger or inter-related processes.
Complete and document analysis of business and technical processes to develop new and/or streamlined processes and reporting in response to evolving internal customer requirements.
Provide tools and methods to analyze and assess program activities and initiatives, projected results, participant engagement, actual outcomes, and overall effectiveness of the supported teams, measures, metrics, and risk factors to aid decision making, program management, and action planning.
Support, coordinate and manage customer expectations in preparation of documentation, deliverables, and staff assignment as required.
Interact directly with high-level customers on a regular basis.
Qualifications:
Required:
Active Secret clearance.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and 7 years of related work experience
Knowledge or experience working in a Naval or Shipyard environment.
Prior leadership experience in submarine availabilities, OHIO or SEAWOLF class experience preferred.
Experience in Shipyard Project Management Fundaments and ability to assess shipyard performance.
Analytical skills to dissect metrics and identify trends in performance to aid in determining true state of project health.
Sufficient skills to perform a wide range of executive, managerial, and administrative support responsibilities, and duties as necessary to assist customer successfully execute complex tasks.
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to function as a team member in a demanding industrial environment.
Ability to communicate with customers at all levels of the organization in a professional, effective manner.
Desired:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering or a similar field.
Minimum ten (10) years of process improvement, management consulting, change management, or related business experience.
Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma and project management practices and principles.
Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Project Management Institute (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification.
Training, experience, and/or certification in Lean, Six Sigma, Shingo, or Theory of Constraints.

The proposed salary range for this position is:
$82,100 - 172,400 USD
