Responsibilities
- Assist coworkers and physicians with performing complex catheterization procedures by monitoring patient's vital signs, interpreting patient status information, and recording all patient information.
- Performs duties as a scrub assistant and assists team members in retrieving supplies and operating equipment.
- Educates patients, family members, and team when applicable.
- Accurately processes results, archives images, and stocks all inventory.
- Provides patient care for a population base of all ages including adolescence, adult, and geriatric.
- Provides performance improvement opportunities through CQI processes.
- Maintains a sterile and clean work environment at all times.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Cardiovascular Technology or related field.
- Must possess an ARRT, RCIS, or RCES Certification.
- Ability to demonstrate strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills on a daily basis.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- A minimum of one (1) year direct experience is preferred.
