Senior Financial Data Analyst (Onsite)

Qualifications/Skills:
- Mastery in converting raw data into valuable datasets.
- Excellent prioritization skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Process-oriented with great documentation skills.
- Financial industry exposure would be nice to have since this would really help when talking to our business stakeholders.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with a keen sense of customer service.
- Knowledge of GAAP.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science with a focus in quantitative methodologies.
- 8+ years of data analysis experience and strong experience writing complex queries.
- 4+ years of data management experience.
- 3-4 years of proven experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst (Finance and Accounting experience a plus).
- Advanced proficiency in PowerBI, including building and maintaining dashboards.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL.
- Experience writing and managing stored procedures, views, and functions, that rely heavily on analytics functions.
- Advanced proficiency with MS Excel (Macros, VBA, V-Lookup, Pivot Tables, etc.).
- Proficiency with accounting platforms.
Required Experience:
- Experience in gathering data/reporting requirements from business stakeholders.
- Adept at queries, building reports, and making presentations.
- Verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to communicate ideas in both business and technical terms.
- Must be comfortable delivering on multiple priorities concurrently.
- Must be proactive, flexible, and exhibit the ability to learn quickly.
- Keen eye to identify problems, ideate potential solutions, and ultimately resolve problems.
Nice to Have:
- Experience in the automotive and insurance sectors is a plus.
- Cloud certification on any platform is a plus.
